Voice terminal lights are dim, especially when the voice terminal T/P switch is in

TROUBLE ON SEVERAL TELEPHONES
Recommended Action
To see if an Auxiliary Power Unit (or another
Auxiliary Power Unit) is necessary, unplug three
voice terminals from the same Voice Terminal
Module at the control unit. (Auxiliary Power Units
support voice terminals in groups.) If the lights at
the remaining voice terminals are no longer dim, the
system needs an Auxiliary Power Unit.
The graph below also indicates when an Auxiliary
Power Unit is necessary.
