Symptom:
A particular outside line does not ring. Other lines do ring.
Possible Cause
User has programmed the line
ringing option to "no ring."
TROUBLE ON ONE TELEPHONE
Recommended Action
if voice terminal is programmed for "no ring."
See
a. Slide T/P switch to P (program) position.
b. Check red light associated with the line that
doesn't ring. The red light indicates how the
line is programmed for ringing:
On = ringing
Flashing = delayed ring.
Off = no ring
If the red light is off, the line is programmed
for "no ring." Change it by touching the line
button until the light is on or flashing.
Slide T/P switch to center position.
