REMOVAL FROM VEHICLE
Disconnect or remove the following from vehicle:
- coolant hose (drain cooling system first),
-exhaust manifold,
- oil injectton hose,
- oil injection cable,
- wirtng harness,
-rewind starter cable,
- pulsation hose,
- rotary valve lubrificatton hose,
- pulley guard,
-belt,
-clutch,
-engine support nut (under engine support),
-clamp between carburetor and intake manifold.

17,39, Manifold bolts
&
engine nuts
Torque the engine support nuts (under engine support) to
35 N•m (26 lbf•ftl.
Torque the mantfold bolts to 21 N•m (15 lbf•ft)
INSTALLATION ON VEHICLE
To install engine on vehicle, reverse removal procedure.
However, pay attention to the following:
-Check tightness of engine mount nuts.
- Verify throttle cable condition then after throttle cable
tnstallatton, check carburetor maximum throttle slide
opening and oil pump adjustment.
-Check pulley alignment and drive belt tension.
