GENERAL PROCEDURES

Expansion tank removal

- Remove fuel tank, saddle, right-hand side panel and air box as outlined in
the relevant paragraphs.
- Loosen the two upper retaining screws (1) of the expansion tank (2) on the
left side of the motorcycle.
- Disconnect breather hose from radiator cap.
- Remove the expansion tank (2) from the right side of the motorcycle.
- Remove the cap (3) and drain all fluid.
- Loosen the clamp (4) and disconnect the breather hose.
