ID SENSOR ABNORMAL (no SC number)
- Possible Causes -
• Dirty ID sensor or ID sensor failure
- Action -
If Vsg becomes less than 2.5 volts, the SC indicator lights but no number
is displayed. The copier shifts to fixed toner supply mode.
Clean the ID sensor.
If the problem still exist, replace the PTC unit.
If the problem still exists, the ID control circuit must be bad; so,
replace the main board.
