SERVICE CALL CONDITIONS

11 EXPOSURE LAMP MALFUNCTION
- Possible Causes -
• Exposure lamp turns on while in standby condition.
• Exposure lamp circuit open (lamp filament broken)
• Cooling fan malfunction
- Action -
Does the cooling fan work?

Check the cooling fan circuit. Replace the cooling fan if it is
defective.
Turn the main switch off and on. Does SC 11 remain off?

• Replace the exposure lamp if the exposure lamp circuit is open.
• Replace the lamp regulator if the exposure lamp circuit is not
open.
Press the Start key. Does lamp trigger (CN204-9) go from +24 V to 0 V?

Replace the main board.
Replace the lamp regulator.
