8. CORONA
- CORONA WIRE REPLACEMENT -
CAUTION: - Do not handle new corona wires with your bare hands. Oil on the wire
will cause uneven charge on the drum.

Do not rub the corona wires with rough material (sandpaper, etc.)
because the corona wires are carbon-coated.
When removing the endblock covers, be careful not to break off the side
hooks.

Do not use any solvent to clean the wire as it will cause uneven charge
on the drum.
I. CHARGE CORONA WIRE
1. Slide the wire cleaner [A] away from the front endblock [B] as shown.
2. Remove the front [C] and rear [D] end block covers.
3. Slide the wire cleaner back to the front end and remove it.
