- FEED ROLLER/FRICTION PAD GAP ADJUSTMENT -
(1ST AND 2ND FEED STATION)
NOTE: This procedure is required when replacing the friction pad.
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
1. Remove the pressure arm [A] (2 screws).
2. Push down the friction pad holder [B] to make the gap between the
feed roller and the pad.
3. Measure the gap between the feed roller and the pad using a gap
guage [C].
4.
If the gap is not within the adjustment standard, adjust the gap by
turning the cam roller [D].
Clockwise:
Counterclockwise:
NOTE: Do not adjust the flat screws [E] because they are factory pre-set.
1.6 ± 0.3 mm (0.06" ± 0.01")
The gap is decreased.
The gap is increased.
