- HORIZONTAL REGISTRATION ADJUSTMENT (CASSETTE TRAY) -
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
1. Pull out the cassette tray [A].
2. Remove the cassette.
3. Loosen the 5 screws securing the bottom plate [B] to the cassette
tray and reposition the bottom plate. Retighten the screws.
4. Check the registration by making a copy. If the registration is not
within specifications perform step 3 again.
5. After adjusting the bottom plate position, perform the following:
a) Place each sized cassette into the cassette tray and close the
tray.
b) Confirm that the Paper Size indicator lights and correctly indicates
the paper size of the cassette inserted in the tray.
c) If the indication is not correct, adjust the position of the paper size
sensor bracket [C].
d) Continue this procedure until all cassettes are indicated properly.
