- FRICTION PAD HOLDER POSITION ADJUSTMENT (CASSETTE TRAY) -
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
NOTE: After reinstalling the friction pad bracket [A], this adjustment is necessary to
prevent wrinkling at the leading edge of the paper.
1. Remove the pressure spring [B].
2. Temporarily secure the friction pad bracket.
3. Place the empty cassette into the cassette tray.
4. Lift and position the bottom plate [C] as shown in the figure. Push the
friction pad holder [D] in the direction of the arrow.
5. Adjust the position
within the standard.
6. Tighten the securing
1.7 ± 0.2 mm (0.07" ± 0.008")
of the friction pad bracket so that the gap is
screw.
