TRANSFER CORONA
OPTIMUM ADJUSTING VALUE: DC +18.6 ± 0.4 µA
1.
Reinstall the T/S corona unit and position the drum shoe [A] at the
center of the shaft so that the axis of the current sensing plate is
aligned with the transfer corona wire as shown.
2.
Reinstall the cleaning unit and the drum stay (1 screw and 1 knob).
3.
Select the dc 200 µA range of the digital multimeter [B].
4.
Turn on SW 3 of the switching board.
5.
Turn on the main switch and adjust the transfer corona current by
turning "T" on the power pack - T/S [C]. (Wait 30 seconds for the
corona current to stabilize.)
6.
Turn off the main switch and SW 3.
