ABNORMAL IMAGE DENSITY
1. IMAGE DENSITY IS TOO HIGH OR TOO LOW
- Possible Causes -
• Incorrect charge corona current
• ID sensor malfunction
- Action -
Check the output voltage of the ID sensor using SP mode 55. Is the voltage
correct?

Adjust the voltage so that it is within standard.
Check and adjust the charge corona current.
If the image density is too light, use SP mode 60 to supply toner.
VERTICAL BLACK LINES OR BANDS
1. WAVY LINES
- Possible Causes -
• Dust between the cleaning blade and drum
• Edge of the cleaning blade deformed
• Insufficient cleaning pressure
• Cleaning mechanism not working properly
- Action -
Clean the edge of the cleaning blade. Do the
reappear after a short time?

Is the stroke of the cleaning solenoid plunger

Check the cleaning pressure mechanism. Do all parts move properly?
