- FEED ROLLER/FRICTION PAD GAP ADJUSTMENT (CASSETTE TRAY) -
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
1. Remove the 1st and 2nd cassettes or large capacity tray if it is
installed.
2. Confirm that the cassette tray (3rd cassette) is securely inserted
into the machine.
3. Measure the gap between the friction adjusting screw [A] and the
friction pad guide [B] using a gap guide [C].
4. If the gap is not within the adjustment standard, adjust the gap by
turning the friction adjusting screw.
Clockwise:
Counterclockwise:
7.3 ± 0.3 mm (0.29" ± 0.01")
The gap is increased.
The gap is decreased.
