- INSTALLATION PROCEDURE ON A TABLE -
NOTE: This procedure is required if ADF or
machine.
1. Install the clamps [A] on the editor
2. Plug the stylus jack into the editor
3. Remove the screw securing the bottom plate as shown and secure
the lock plate [B] to the bottom plate.
NOTE: Step 3 is only required in the 220/240V machine.
4. Secure the stylus pen harness [C] and connector harness [D] in the
clamps.
5. Place the editor on a table.
6. Open the rear cover [E] (2 screws).
7. Connect the editor connector (8 pin) [F] through the docking hole [G]
of the DF.
NOTE: If the platen cover is installed on the machine, the connector should be
connected through the cutout in the docking hole cap as shown in page 8-7.
8. Clamp the editor harness to the main board bracket with the nylon
wire clamp.
9. Reinstall the rear cover.
10. Check the operation of editor.
11. Fill out the New Equipment Condition Report.
