3. Good track FORMAT

Selection
(1) When Good track FORMAT
or Bad track

is selected,
the following message will appear.
Interleave number (3/1-9)

(2) Select an interleave number. (Usually select 3.) Type the
number
and
press
Enter.
The
following
message
will
appear.
Drive number select (1:11, 2:12)

(3) Select a drive number. Type the drive number and press
Enter. The following message will appear.

(4) Type a track number (four digits) and press Enter.
(The first three digits are the cylinder number and the
last
digit
is
the
head
number.)
This
executes
the
formatting of good tracks or bad tracks.
Rote: This program can format only one track per operation. If
it
is
desired
to
format
several
good
tracks
or
bad
tracks, repeat the operation as many times as nessary.
(5) After formatting the track of the hard disk, the Format
complete message will appear.
(6) Press the Enter to return to the HARD DISK FORMAT menu.
