PROCEDURE 1
Display Check
1. Turn the POWER switch off.
2. After turning the POWER switch on again, the following
message should appear in the upper left-hand corner of the
screen:
MEMORY TEST XXXKB
3. If the message appears, go to PROCEDURE 2.
4. If the message does not appear, first do the following:
(a) Confirm that the contrast and brightness volume is
adjusted correctly.
(b) Confirm that the display is not on an external CRT.
(The CRT indicator lamp will be lit if the display is
on an external CRT.)
(C) Confirm that the DIP switch is OFF.
After confirming (a), (b) and (c) above, perform steps 1 and
2 again. If the message still fails to appear, go to
PROCEDURE 3.
