Defective feeding circuit
Incorrect float level
Water in the carburettor
Maximum jet dirty - lean carburetion

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Wrong timing
Cut-off device failure
Idle adjustment is incorrect
Compression end pressure too low
Faulty spark plug or incorrect ignition ad-
vance.
Starter remains pressed
Idle nozzle dirty

WORK
Check the feeding pump, the vacuum inlet, and the
duct seal, replace if required.
Restore the level in the basin by bending The fuel inlet
pin thrusting reed on the float so as to have the float
parallel to the basin plane with upturned carburettor.
Empty the basin by the special drain.
Wash with solvent and dry with compressed air.
WORK
Adjust the timing and check the timing components.
Check the efficiency of the valve, membrane, spring,
and the cleaning of the sponge filter.
Adjust with the rpm counter.
Check the seals of the thermal unit and replace worn
components.
Replace the spark plug or check the ignition circuit
components
Check: electric connections, circuit continuity, mecha-
nical sliding, and presence of power; replace, if requi-
red
Wash with solvent and dry with compressed air
