Cutter Unit
The cutter unit is removed by the following procedure.
CAUTION
Bearings can fall out of the pulley when removing it. Also, the pulley must be
put on the same way it was removed. This pulley is three pulleys molded into
one piece. The middle pulley is much larger than the two outside ones. Although
the two outside pulleys appear to be the same size, they are not. If the outside
pulleys are reversed, a jam results.
IMPORTANT
In order to avoid putting pulleys on backwards, mark their outside edges with
white.
1. If necessary, remove the rear belts by lifting the tension roller (it may not be
necessary to remove the belts for screw removal).
