Capacitors
In printers where there are six (6) cylindrical capacitors (instead of one (1)
rectangular capacitor) inside the flash power supply unit, follow the steps below to
replace the capacitors.
When main power is switched off, wait about 5 minutes for the high–voltage DC
charge in some components to be completely discharged before touching the
printer base or other metal parts having no coating. Failure to do so could result
in electrical shock.

das Hochspannungs–Gleichstromnetzteil in einigen Komponenten vollständig
entladen hat, ehe Sie das Unterteil des Druckers oder andere Metallteile, die
keine Schutzschicht haben, berühren. Nichtbeachtung könnte einen elektrischen
Schlag zur Folge haben.
1. Remove all connectors and cables attached to the flash power supply unit, and
remove the screws (2) fastening the unit. Remove the flash power supply as
described earlier (page 10–85).
2. Loosen the screws fastening both covers to the left and right of the flash power
supply. On the right cover is the earth plate. Loosen the right screw on the earth
plate, and remove the left screw as shown. Then remove the right cover. Remove
the left cover in the same manner.
