Control principles

The following controlling detector terminals (sensors, switches) are assembled into

the cut–sheet feeder unit.

These sensors are each comprised of 3 switches set on the board. There are 7 paper

sizes (including no cassette). Paper size is detected by the switches turned on by the

paper size caps (set on the cassette end that is inserted into the receptacle).

Set the paper cassette's paper size caps according to the paper size.
