Nip switch
The nip switch is located closer to the rear panel than the paper output sensor 0. In
order to remove this switch, remove the screws (not visible in the illustration below)
securing the bracket to the scuff guide from the paper output side. Put your hand in
from the top of the rear panel, and remove the switch and bracket. Remove the
screws (2) securing the switch to the bracket, and disconnect the connector.

Paper output sensor 1 (EPS1)
The paper output sensor 1 is located on the paper guide under the paper output roller
at the output to the face–up paper output tray. This sensor is removed by
disconnecting the connector and removing the screw (1) securing the bracket to the
paper guide.
