• Color wheel: Orient the coated side of the color wheel dichroic filter toward the lamp;
orient the glass side of the dichroic away from the lamp.

Also make sure you do the following:
• Place the "slider" screw on the hub in the center of the middle keyhole slot, as shown in
Figure 3-12 on page 3-10.
• Push the wheel until the two hex nuts are all the way onto the narrow ends of the keyhole
slots before tightening the screws.
• Tighten the hex nuts until they are secure but do not overtighten. Doing so could damage
the wheel.
Caution Be careful not to allow the lithos/dichroics to contact other objects when
reinstalling the wheels. Doing so could scratch them.
