IMPORTANT: If a noisy sound in driving the CD-ROM drive occurs after setting a CD-ROM, set
it again correctly.
To take out the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive, press the CD tray eject button in the similar way in setting the CD-ROM to
make t
he tray go out. (If the access lamp is lit in orange, the CD is being accessed and CD tray eject button is disabled.) Some
o
perating systems have a command to eject a tray.
A
fter taking out the CD-ROM, return the tray into the drive.
When
you fail to eject the CD-ROM tray with the CD tray eject
p
rocedure below.
1.
Press the POWER switch to power off the server. (The POWER/SLEEP lamp goes off.)
2.
Insert a metal
pin of approximately 1.2 mm in diameter and 100 mm in length (a straightened large paper clip will
ma e a substitute) into the emergency hole on the upper front of the CD-ROM drive and gently push it in until
k
tra is ejected.
