CONSUMABLES

Your server contains some components that are only good for a limited period of time and require replacement, such as
batteries, fans, the internal CD-ROM drive, the floppy disk drive, and the mouse. For stable operation of the server, We
recommend you replace these components on a regular basis. Consult with your service representative for replacement or the
product lives.

DISPOSAL OF THE SERVER

Dispose the server, all the internal devices, floppy disks, and CD-ROMs according to all national laws and regulations. Also
dispose of the power cord provided with the server to avoid diversion to some other devices.
IMPORTANT:
consult with your service representative.
NOTE:
If the real-time clock battery on the I/O board reaches its life, the following message
appeared on the display while running the POST. Contact your service representative to replace the
battery.
0250 System battery is dead –Replace and run SETUP
Do not remove the lithium and NiMH batteries.
Your server contains lithium and NiMH batteries. Do not remove any battery. Danger of explosion if the
battery is incorrectly replaced. Placing the lithium or NiMH battery close to a fire or in the water may cause
an explosion.
When the server does not operate appropriately due to the failure of lithium and NiMH batteries, contact
your service representative to replace only with the same or equivalent type. Do not disassemble the
server to replace or recharge the battery by yourself.
For disposal (or replacement) of the battery on the I/O board of the server,
