he SCSI backplane include
s SAF-TE (SCSI Accessed Fault Tolerant Enclosure) logic that provides an interface to the disk

bsystem that supports status signals, hot swapping drives, and enclosure monitoring.

he transport mechanism for the standardized alert detection and status reporting is the SCSI bus. Disk drives, power supplies,

oling fans, and temperature are continually monitored and the conditions then reported over the SCSI bus

hen used with RAID management software the user can be alerted of impending or imminent disk conditions requiring

tention. This allows the user to react to conditions that could normally go unnoticed until data loss.

o install or remove the DIMM, remove the memory board first. One memory board is factory-installed in the server. Up to

ur memory boards (32GB at the maximum) can be installed in the server.
Install the DIMM (Dual Inline Memory Module) to the DIMM socket on the memory board in the server. DIMMs are installed
in the ascending order of DIMM socket numbers in the unit of two modules.
