7 Copy the configuration that was used for startup from the HDLM device.

You can assign any name that indicates that the configuration is used for
specifying the SCSI device.
Change label if the boot loader is LILO, or ELILO running on an IPF host.
If LILO is the boot loader, you must then execute /sbin/lilo command
to activate the new setting.
Change title if you will use GRUB as the boot loader.
9 In root, specify the SCSI device you checked in step 3.

If you are using a kernel that supports Xen on SUSE LINUX Enterprise
Server 10, add the root device by using the definition conventions for the
boot loader configuration file.
When LVM2 is used, specify root as the name of the device mounted to /
in the /etc/fstab file.
10 For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, change hdlm_dracut=y defined in the /

etc/opt/DynamicLinkManager/hdlm.conf file to hdlm_dracut=n.
11 In initrd, specify the initial RAM disk image file for the SCSI device.

If you are using a kernel that supports Xen on SUSE LINUX Enterprise
Server 10, change the initrd file name specified in module to the initial
RAM disk image file for the SCSI device.
When editing the file, be careful of the following:
When an option that depends on the user environment is specified:

When the boot loader is LILO, or ELILO running on an IPF host, and

Comment out or delete append.
Create the initial RAM disk image file for the SCSI device according to the
mkinitrd or dracut command documentation for the OS.
12 Shut down the host.
