The Catalyst 6500 series switches support the following configurations:
• Supervisor Engine 32 with the following onboard components: Policy Feature Card 3B (PFC3B) or
PFC3BXL, and Multilayer Switch Feature Card 2A (MSFC2A)
Supervisor Engine 720 with the following onboard components: PFC3A, PFC3B, or PFC3BXL,

MSFC3, and integrated 720-Gbps switch fabric
Supervisor Engine 2, PFC2, and MSFC2
•
Supervisor Engine 2 and PFC2
•
Supervisor Engine 1, PFC, and MSFC or MSFC2
•
• Supervisor Engine 1 and PFC
• Supervisor Engine 1
