Back up and restore system programming.
Control what a caller hears while waiting (for
example, during transfer or while on hold).
Set up special phones for calls during a
commercial power failure.
Prevent DLC operators from accidentally
disconnecting callers.
Fix the hold timer when callers on hold are
being disconnected.
Find out about the Alarm button on operator
consoles, or set up a special light or bell to
signal a system problem.
For noisy places: turn off microphone at a
phone so that a user hears voice pages but
must lift the handset to respond.
Fix problems with the switchhook, Recall, or
Flash button.
