12. To enable HPE the SR SmartCache or MR CacheCade feature, install the energy pack .
SmartCache and CacheCade enable solid-state drives to be used as caching devices for hard drive media. These features accelerate
access to frequently used data by caching hot data from the hard drives onto the solid-state drives.
13. If the controller cable is not yet connected to the drive backplane, remove the front drive cage to facilitate the cabling .
14. Cable the controller .
15. If removed, install the front drive cage .
16. Install the access panel .
17. Install the server into the rack .
18. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
19. Connect each power cord to the server.
20. Connect each power cord to the power source.
