Transmission related settings

5.3.1

Cover page

A cover page containing a simple message that can be automatically attached to the documents.

A cover page cannot be attached when performing manual transmission (page 4-10), or when using an e-mail
gateway (page 5-17).
Registering cover page message
You can register up to three types of message.

Press [Setting] on My MFP Menu screen.
% If My MFP Menu screen is not displayed, press <Mode> repeatedly until My MFP menu screen is
displayed.

Press [Register].

Press [CoverPage Setup].

Select a document number you want to register.

Enter a message, and press [Enter].
% Up to 120 characters can be entered. For details on entering the characters, see chapter 2 in the
Administrator's Guide.
% To insert a line break, press
% You can check the entered message by pressing [ViewText]. After checking, press [Edit] to return
to the entry screen.

Press [Close].
