Registering the user install

Setting the language
Select the language on display. The selected language will be applied to the list printouts as well.

Open the user install screen (page 8-25).

Press [Language].

Select the language, and press [Enter].
Setting the date & time
Set the current time in the order of year (4 digits), month (2 digits), day (2 digits), hour (2 digits), and minutes
(2 digits).

Enter the current date and time, and press [Enter].

Setting daylight saving
Select the validity for the daylight saving time.

Select [ON] or [OFF], and press [Enter].
Setting the broadcast transmission option
Select whether to start transmission when registered destination is selected ("OFF"), or when <Start> is
pressed with all destinations selected ("ON").

The broadcast setting is enabled for both scan to e-mail and fax transmission.
