3.2 Advanced scan functions
Adjusting the lightness
You can set the image lightness (brightness and darkness) to seven different levels, from -3 (low) to +3 (high).
–: Darkens the entire image.
+: Lightens the entire image.

To adjust lightness, set the contrast to "Normal". For details, page 3-6.

Press [Scan] on My MFP Menu screen.
% If My MFP Menu screen is not displayed, press <Mode> repeatedly until "Scan Ready" screen is
displayed.

Press [Advanced].

Press [Color Adjust].

Press [Lightness].

Select the lightness, and press [Enter].

Press [Close] repeatedly until the "Scan Ready" screen is displayed.

Specify the destinations, and press <Start>.

Adjusting the RGB
You can set the ratio of R (red) to seven different levels, from -3 to +3.
–: Lessens red, and enhances cyan.
+: Enhances red, and lessens cyan.
