Defining presets

You can define presets on a workpiece in the Manual Operation mode in the
following ways:
Probe a workpiece with a HEIDENHAINKT 130 Edge Finder. Use this method to
automatically enter the presets into the preset table.
Touch a workpiece with the tool. Use this method to define the respective tool
position as a preset.
Requirements:
A workpiece is clamped on the machine tool
The reference mark search was successfully completed
A wizard assists you in setting presets by probing.
The following functions are available for probing a workpiece:

The setup engineer (Setup) may have already made settings in the
preset table.
