Presetting a position as datum

When machining a workpiece manually on a machine tool without NC functionality,
you use the handwheels or the manual direction keys to move the axes. For simple
machining operations, you can use the current position as a preset and perform
simple position calculations.
Requirements:
A workpiece is clamped on the machine tool
The reference mark search was successfully completed
Setting the current position as zero point
Defining the position values of the current position

Move the tool manually to the desired position
Long-press Clear in the workspace
The active preset in the preset table is overwritten with the
current position
The active preset is applied as the new value
Perform the desired machining operation, e.g. drilling or
milling
Move the tool manually to the desired position
Tap the axis key in the workspace
Enter the desired position value
Confirm the entry with RET
The position value is applied to the current position
The entered position value is linked with the current position
and overwrites the active preset in the preset table
The active preset is applied as the new value
Perform the desired machining operation, e.g. drilling or
milling
