OPERATION
Stop the operation and move the machine to a safe place, and then ask your Komatsu distributor for the inspec-
tion and maintenance.
When the action level "L02" is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in red and the alarm buzzer sounds intermittently.
Stop the operation, then stop the engine
If the condition is not improved, ask your Komatsu distributor for the inspection and maintenance.
When the action level "L01" is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in yellow.
Some functions may be restricted for use, but the machine can operate.
When you finish the operation, always perform the inspection and maintenance.
Ask your Komatsu distributor for the inspection and maintenance as needed.
When no action level is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in red and the alarm buzzer sounds intermittently.
The hybrid system cannot operate or some functions are restricted for use when a certain period of time has
passed after starting of the engine.
Keep the engine running at low idle, and wait for 5 minutes or longer until the hybrid system becomes operable
(until this lamp goes out). If the lamp does not go out even after the engine is kept running at low idle, ask your
Komatsu distributor for the inspection and repair.
REMARK
•
The hybrid caution lamp is displayed as well if the engine power is under deration after the DEF level cau-
tion lamp or the DEF system caution lamp lights up in red, and the action level "L04" or "L03" is displayed.
If the engine power is under deration, the hybrid system output is limited as well, and the hybrid system is
stopped.

The hybrid caution lamp may be displayed due to the engine power deration if the engine coolant tempera-
ture caution lamp, engine oil pressure caution lamp, KDPF system caution lamp, KDPF soot accumulation
caution lamp, DEF system high-temperature stop caution lamp, and engine system caution lamp, and en-
gine oil level caution lamp light up in red.

If you turn the starting switch to OFF position once and then turn it to ON position again after the warning
display has been cleared, the hybrid system output is limited for 10 seconds, however, it is not a trouble in
the hybrid system.
SYSTEM CAUTION LAMP
The system caution lamp warns about abnormality in the ma-
chine system, including the sensors.
When action level "L04" is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in red and the alarm buzzer sounds
continuously.
Stop the machine immediately and ask your Komatsu distribu-
tor for inspection and maintenance.
When action level "L03" is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in red and the alarm buzzer sounds
intermittently.
Stop the operation and move the machine to a safe place, then ask your Komatsu distributor for inspection and
maintenance.
When action level "L01" is displayed
The caution lamp lights up in yellow.
Some functions may be restricted for use, but the machine can operate.
