OPERATION
1)
Loosen the knob of manual fuel priming pump (1), pull
it out, then pump it in and out until the movement be-
comes heavy.
REMARK
It is not necessary to remove the plugs at the fuel pre-
filter head and at the fuel main filter head.
2)
After bleeding air, push in the knob of manual fuel pri-
ming pump (1) and tighten it.
3)
Turn the starting switch key to START position (C) and
start the engine.
NOTICE
Do not operate the starting motor continuously for more than 20 seconds. If the engine does
not start, wait for at least 2 minutes before trying again. Perform this operation a maximum of 4
times.

PHENOMENA THAT ARE NOT FAILURES

Note that the following phenomena are not failures.
When the arm is operated IN from a high position for dig-
ging with no load, the arm speed drops momentarily at the
vertical position.
When performing bucket CURL operation from a high posi-
tion for digging under no load, the bucket speed drops mo-
mentarily at the horizontal position.
The bucket or arm wobbles by itself during heavy-duty dig-
ging operations.
When starting or stopping the swing, a noise is generated from the brake valve.
When going down a steep slope at low speed, a noise is generated from the travel motor brake valve.
If the hybrid system (capacitor) needs to be charged, the engine speed becomes higher than that of when
engine is running at low idle even if the fuel control dial is at Low idle (MIN) position. It is not a problem.
Engine speed will drop after charging hybrid system (capacitor) is completed.
