MAINTENANCE
Hybrid component radiator cleaning
1.
Place the machine on a level ground, then stop the engine.
2.
Check that the coolant temperature is low enough to touch
the radiator cap surface by bare hand, turn the radiator
cap (1) slowly until it hits the stopper, and release the pres-
sure.
3.
While pushing the radiator cap (1), turn it until it hits the
stopper, then remove it.
4.
Remove the undercover (2), and pull out the drain hose
(3).
5.
Place a container under the drain hose (3) to catch the
coolant mixture.
6.
Open the drain plug (4) at the bottom of the drain block
and drain the coolant.
(Width across flats: 17 mm, 1 place)
7.
After draining the coolant, close the drain plug (4).
Tightening torque: 58.8 to 78.5 Nm{6.0 to 8.0 kgm}
8.
Remove the undercover (5), then place a container under
the drain plug (6) to catch the coolant mixture.
9.
Open the drain plug (6) at the bottom of the capacitor and
drain the coolant.
(Width across flats: 14 mm, 2 places)
10. After draining the coolant, close the drain plug (6).
Tightening torque: 5.88 to 8.82 Nm{0.6 to 0.9 kgm}
