OPERATION
Some machines are equipped with the auto-greasing system. The auto-greasing system distributes the right
amount of grease at regular time intervals to the greasing points which are connected to this system.
Recommended grease
•
Komatsu genuine grease is provided to maintain the reliability and durability of Komatsu construction equip-
ment and components.
•
Handle the auto-greasing system as described in the Operation and Maintenance Manual in order to main-
tain the optimal state of the machine for a long period of time.
•
It may seem to be efficient to use a commercially available additive agent for grease, however, it has a pos-
sibility to harm the machine. Komatsu does not recommend any commercially available additive agent for
grease.

NOTICE
The auto-greasing system has been set at factory shipment. Changing the setting for greasing may de-
teriorate the machine performance. Consult your Komatsu distributor if there is anything unclear.
The auto-greasing system consists of the following components.

Auto-greasing pump (1) with total control unit
•
Distribution block with grease metering unit

Display inside the cab (2)
