MAINTENANCE
15. Stop the engine and open the drain valve (4) to drain the
coolant.
16. After draining the coolant, clean with detergent liquid.
For the cleaning method, follow the instruction for the de-
tergent liquid to use.
17. Close the drain valve (4).
18. Install the undercover (3).
19. Fill with the Non-Amine Engine Coolant through the water
filler port up to the mouth of the port.
For the density of Non-Amine Engine Coolant, see the
Coolant density table.
20. Run the engine at low idle for 5 minutes to remove the air
from the coolant, then run it at high idle for further 5 mi-
nutes.
(At this time, keep the radiator cap (2) removed.)
21. Drain the coolant from the reservoir tank (5), clean the in-
side of the reservoir tank, then add the coolant to the mid-
dle between FULL and LOW marks.
NOTICE
If the reservoir tank is extremely dirty and it is difficult
to clean, replace it with a new one.
