5. Remove the brake bar from the machine (Fig. 103).

Reverse the order of removal

Adjusting the Parking Brake

Check the parking brake for proper adjustment.
1. Check tire pressure of all 4 tires.
2. Disengage the brake lever (lever down).

3. Measure the distance vertically between the front
of the brake bar and the crown of the tire; the
measurement should be 7/8" to 1" (22 to 25mm)
(Fig. 104).
