6. Remove the 9 sets of fasteners holding the right
hand muffler guard and guard strap to the frame.
Remove the muffler guard assembly (Fig. 338).

7. Remove the top cable clamp and disconnect the
choke cable (Fig. 339).

8. Remove the bottom cable clamp and disconnect the
throttle cable (Fig. 340).
