DC Voltage Accuracy
This procedure ver ifies the DC accur acy specification s of the digitizer. It
can be used to deter mine if the digitizer meets its published
specifications for DC accur acy or if it is in need of adjustment. It can
also be used to ver ify that the adjustment procedur e was successful in
adjusting the digitizer accur acy to meet its published specifications.
The DC accur acy ver ification procedur e uses a calibration standard of
kn own accur acy to gen erate DC voltage input signals that are measur ed
by the digitizer. The measurement r esults ar e then compar ed to the
kn own values of the inputs to deter mine the measur ement er ror of the
digitizer. Large data r ecords ar e acquir ed and aver aged in order to
r educe the effects of noise on the measur emen ts an d to mor e accur ately
deter min e the DC value of the input sign als. The On Board Measurement
capability of the digitizer is used to per for m the dat a aver aging.

Test Consider ations
Con nect the Calibrator output to the Chan nel inputs on the digitizer.
All the chann els may be conn ected in par allel to make the
measur emen ts easier. Use BNC T- conn ectors near the chan nel inputs.
The L4532A has two chan nel inputs an d the L4534A has four chan nel
inputs.
