Calibration and Adjustment
Input Channel Noise Functional T est (optional)
Description
This procedur e checks the input chan n el n oise of the digitizer. This test
does not measur e a war r an ted specification or char acter istic. However, it
is used to ver ify that the circuitr y in the digitizer is fun ction in g proper ly.
The input chan nel noise fun ctional test consists of digitizing a r ecord of
data with the input chann els ter minated with 50
measur ing the Vr ms value of the channel input noise. The input noise is
measured by the digitizer usin g the On Board Measur ement capability to
calculate the Vr ms value of the record. This measured value is compar ed
to the expected value of the input chan n el n oise function al test limit.
