Calibration and Adjustment
Dur ing the calibr ation process using the Remote Access Page, you will be
prompted for the calibr ation secur ity code (if one has been set). At the
en d of a calibration , the digitizer will be r e- secur ed (if a secur ity code
was set).
To secur e or unsecure the digitizer using the Agilen t Con nection Exper t,
use the CAL:SEC:STAT and CAL:SEC:CODE commands (r efer to the
L4532A/34A Com m a n d Refer en ce).
T o Unsecure the digitizer Without the Security Code
To unsecure the digitizer without the cor r ect secur ity code, you will need
a USB Flash drive.

Using the Web Interface for Adjustments
All adjustments can be made using the Remote Access Page (see

If you do not have a record of the security code, try the factory default code
(ATL4532 or ATL4534 depending on model) before you use the procedure below.
Cr eate a 0 byte file named CalSecureOverride.txt at the root level
of the USB Flash Dr ive. You can cr eate this file using a progr am such
as Notepad. The file n ame MUST be CalSecureOverride.txt an d
the file size MUST be 0 bytes. This file will be er ased from the USB
Flash dr ive dur in g this procedur e.
Tur n off the digitizer.
In st all the USB Flash dr ive in the Ser vice Por t on the digitizer rear
pan el (see
p age
19).
Tur n on the digitizer. The digitizer will boot up with the Calibr ation
Over r ide enabled. The file on the USB Flash drive will be er ased and
an er ror will be put in the digitizer er ror queue.
You may now unsecur e the Calibr ation mode without providing a
password usin g the CAL:SEC:STAT OFF comman d from the r emote
in ter face.
Use the CAL:SEC:CODE <code> comman d to set a new security code.
Use the CAL:SEC:STAT ON command to r e- secur e the digitizer.
Remove the USB Flash dr ive and r eboot the digitizer to eliminate the
Calibr ation Over ride mode
When the digitizer is unsecured using this procedure, the Calibration Count is
incremented by 1 (see
35).
