Step 2
To r einstall the fron t panel, r ever se these steps. Remember to reconn ect
the display cable to the front panel befor e reattaching the pan el.
Replacing the Power Switch and Switch Cable
The cover and fron t pan el must be r emoved befor e you can remove the
power switch or its cable. To remove them:

Disconn ect the display cable from the display (this cable has a cen ter
lockin g tab at both ends; squeeze to r elease). The photo shows the
front pan el still in place and illustrates why it is easier to discon nect
the display cable after the fron t pan el is r emoved.
Remove all cables from the exter ior of the in str umen t, and remove the
cover (see

Discon nect the power switch cable from the car r ier board.
Remove the fron t pan el (see
Remove the switch pushbutton cap, by pullin g it straight off the power
switch shaft (friction fit, not keyed).
Remove the 5/ 16 inch nut securing the power switch, and disengage
the switch (slide backwards) into the chassis.
