Calibration Count

You can r ead the digitizer calibration count to deter min e how many
calibr ations have been per for med. Note that your digitizer was calibr ated
befor e it left the factor y. When you r eceive your digitizer, be sure to r ead
the count to deter min e its in itial value.
The calibration coun t in crements each time the calibr ation con st an ts ar e
stored (CAL:STOR from the r emote in ter face). To r ead the Calibr ation
Coun t using the Remote Con trol Page:

Calibration Security

This feature allows you to en ter a security code to preven t accident al or
un author ized adjustmen ts of the digitizer. When you first r eceive your
digitizer, it is secur ed. Befor e you can adjust the digitizer, you must
un secur e it by enter ing the cor r ect security code.

Click the Calibration... button . Both the calibration str ing and
calibr ation coun t can be r ead on this scr een.
The Calibration Count can be used to indicate that the digitizer calibration has
been tampered with. The calibration count is also incremented if the calibration
security code has been changed using the security bypass procedure (
Unsecure the digitizer Without the Security Code
If you forget your security code, you can disable the security feature by following
the procedure below.
The secur ity code is set to ATL4532 or ATL4534 when the digitizer is
shipped from the factor y (depen din g on the model). The secur ity code
is stor ed in non volatile memor y, an d does not change when power
has been off, after a Factor y Reset (*RST command), or after an
digitizer Pr eset (SYSTem:PRESet command).
The security code may cont ain up to u p to 12 char acter s. You do not
have to use all 12 character s but the fir st character must always be a
letter (A Z). The r emain ing 11 char acters can be letter s, number s
(0 9), or the un derscor e char acter ("_"). Blank spaces ar e not allowed.
