ship. Agilent r ecommends that you ret ain the or iginal shipping car ton for
use in such shipmen ts.

Repackaging for Shipment

If the unit is to be shipped to Agilent for ser vice or r epair, be sur e to:
If the origin al shippin g cont ainer is not available, place your un it in a
cont ainer which will en sur e at least 4 inches of compressible packagin g
mater ial around all sides for the digitizer. Use static fr ee packagin g
mater ials to avoid additional damage to your unit.
Agilen t suggests that you always insur e shipmen ts.

Cleaning

Clean the outside of the digitizer with a soft, lin t free, slightly dampen ed
cloth. Do not use detergen t. Disassembly is n ot r equir ed or recommended
for cleanin g.

Attach a tag to the unit iden tifyin g the own er an d indicatin g the
requir ed ser vice or r epair. Include the model n umber and full ser ial
number.
Place the un it in its original container with appropr iate packaging
mater ial for shippin g.
Secure the contain er with stron g t ape or metal bands.
