Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions
Electr ical compon ents can be damaged by electrostatic dischar ge (ESD)
durin g handlin g. Compon ent damage can occur at electrost atic dischar ge
volt ages as low as 50 volts.
The following guidelines will help pr even t ESD damage when ser vicin g
the digitizer or any electronic device.

T o prevent equipment circuit damage, always set the line power switch to
off, remove any input cables, and disconnect the digitizer from the ac
mains and before removing or replacing any assembly.
