Safety Considerations
The digitizer is a Safety Class 1 instr umen t, which means it has a
protective ear th ter min al (the third ter minal safety ground in the power
connector ). That ter min al must be con nected to ear th ground usin g the
supplied three- wire power cord, which must be con nected to a grounded
r ecept acle. Do not defeat the safety ground by r emovin g the power plug's
groun d pron g or by usin g an ungrounded adapter or cable.

located at appropriate places throughout this man ual.

Fan s cool the digitizer by dr awing air through the front and exhaustin g it
out the left side an d back. In st all the digitizer in a location that allows
gen erous space at the front, back, and left side of the un it for adequate
air circulation.
