2.4.5 Tools Menu Overview

Adjust Graph Menu
Allows you to adjust the X and Y on the visual graph when needed. See 4.5
Adjusting the Graph Scale.
Reset
This feature operates the same as the Reset button on the meter. Press once
to clear any unsaved data for that measurement. Press a second time to reset
filters. You may need to wait a few seconds while filters reset completely
before making a new measurement.
Locate
Allows you to locate a record from a measurement and/or event history
measurement. Explained in Modules 15–17.
Print Screens
Available when the 831C is connected to an external printer.
Press the Tools
831C:
File Manager
Access all data files on the meter or the inserted USB drive. For more
information, see Module 8 Managing Measurement Data Files.
Calibrate
Calibrate the microphone for accurate measurement. See Module 5
Calibrating Your SoundAdvisor 831C.
Setup Manager
Setup measurement parameters and metrics. See Module 6 Creating a
Measurement Setup.
System Properties
Access properties for the meter, set time, language, and other preferences.
See Module 9 System Properties.
